Ponza. Popular imagination has given picturesque denominations to the varied places. Departing from the spur north - oriental of Punta dell'Incenso and continuing for south, the visit of the island shows  enchanting places: I'isolotto of Gavi, Cala  Gaetano, Rock-cliff of Aniello, the characteristic Rock-cliff Black Spaccapolpio Arc Naturale,Punta, Cala of Hell, Cala of the Core, Point Bianca, Cala of Pediment, S. Maria, Giancos, up to the beach. This land is protected to east by the Point of the Madonna (with the near faraglionis), under which the Caves of Husked, ancient Roman walls, on which the legend has interwoven picturesque histories.

Ventotene. Long around 2800 meters, width maximum 800 meters, tall in the most elevated point as 139 meters (Mountain of the Arc), Ventotene introduces different characteristics very much from Ponza. More compact, and a volcanic origin in the reddish and brown earth, covered from low vegetation and from fig trees of India. Place of exile for the beautiful Julia daughter of  August, Agrippina, wife of Germanic, and Ottavia, sterile wife of Nerone, preserve rests of the imperial villa near Point Eolo. The church, devoted to S. Candid, and in 1765, disigned by Winspeare. The tour of the island  reserves pleasant surprises, departing from Point Eolo (typical the low rocks with vertical cuts); Cala  Rossano with the dock for the boats, the beaches, the " caves "; Punta Pertuso, center of the Roman dock, with benches covered by suggestive natural arcs; the beach  of Cala Navewith the two rock-cliffs of the Ship of Earth and the Ship of Out.
